funny you mention that......i'm actually looking into medical schools that offer the dual degree MD/JD in addition to just an MD because, like we previously discussed, I am interested in doing that for sure. i wont have time to study for the LSAT though until at least January. and yah, i'm pretty sure they are quite rare

Chicago and NYC are the two cities with probably the best med school and residency programs in the world!!! You get out of Northwestern and its "write your own ticket" city!!! They say the future is specialists, so something to consider too. Plastics doing hooters is always a nice route!!

....lol.....yah....its kind of in my genes, so to say.

who knows what i'll end up doing. but chicago is one of my favorite cities and i have tons of friends in the northern suburbs. met them all when i used to go up to a Camp in Eagle River, Wisconsin (Ojibwa) and worked as a water ski instructor and boat driver and such.

I suppose NYC nor Boston would be bad choices either. Then again, it is tough to beat Cali weather

Therein is the rub, the weather is so good in Cali and AZ that nothing gets done!!! Hey, you could go Hollywood, start doing plastics and buy us all a new car (in about 20 years after you do med school (x4) , residency (x2), internship, specialty (X3) , surgical residency(x2) etc etc etc)

haha....yah, that and the 91 octane we have. i guarantee i hit at least a 12.7 if not lower next month. If I had 93 octane and a solid DA, i'm confident that with tires i could get below a 12.4. Keep in mind i havent even gone to the drag strip since last December, and boy i have modded since.

Yes Josh, with those mods you should be outgunning my 12.7. I ran that on 93 oct with Pilot Sports and minimal mods. My biggest issue is traction. The car just spins out of the digg. I've had to abandon quite a few runs because of VHT wearing off and the track gets slippery later in the day. If you can hook with some form of drag radial, 12.4-12.5 is entirely possible.

I am looking into a Quaife once my other one is installed on MayBelle and I see how that one works. There's quite a few used ones floating around. They say the Quaife (just ask the two Mike's) makes a world of difference.

yah, i should be able to hit a mid 12. Hooley is gonna let me "borrow" his DRs. I have no experience with them but i'm sure I will pull a better 60' than i would on streets. and with more mods than last time, traction is definitely an issue and a 2.1 on streets is not reall possible anymore. i really have to feather first gear, like really.

yah I'd like a Quaife, but with application fees (first round looks like its gonna cost me 1300), i'd rather hold off.....b/c i havent even gotten to secondaries yet, which will be like 70-100 per school.....times 36 schools (yes, i'm a little bit superstitious, one school per point on my test lol).....it adds up

Which mike's are you talking about? i know Hooley (also a Mike) doesn't have a mechanical LSD like a quaife.

haha sounds good. sorry i made you feel that way, i had no intentions to do so lol.....to be honest, i dont even think thats a big deal. there is no rush. i wish i took my time and did more traveling, b/c i've never really been out of the country and i really want to go.

and yah, you and hooley and i will definitely grab drinks when you come down here next

Well done Josh,

We are all dully proud of you mate. I know some of the dept heads at Johns Hopkins and it is a "Special Place". Plus, my wife works with two Cardiac surgeons from Mayo, another good place. What do you plan to specialize in?

Let us all know where you end up.

yah I'd like a Quaife, but with application fees (first round looks like its gonna cost me 1300), i'd rather hold off.....b/c i havent even gotten to secondaries yet, which will be like 70-100 per school.....times 36 schools (yes, i'm a little bit superstitious, one school per point on my test lol).....it adds up

Which mike's are you talking about? i know Hooley (also a Mike) doesn't have a mechanical LSD like a quaife.

Alumar I believe has a C55 with one!!

haha sounds good. sorry i made you feel that way, i had no intentions to do so lol.....to be honest, i dont even think thats a big deal. there is no rush. i wish i took my time and did more traveling, b/c i've never really been out of the country and i really want to go.

and yah, you and hooley and i will definitely grab drinks when you come down here next

Well done Josh,

We are all dully proud of you mate. I know some of the dept heads at Johns Hopkins and it is a "Special Place". Plus, my wife works with two Cardiac surgeons from Mayo, another good place. What do you plan to specialize in?

Let us all know where you end up.

Plastics!!! O O
