She's been a good Girl!!!

Wow, Hit 100,000 miles in my baby today! She's still like a new car. Guess I'm in the elite club now. I could have cried when I saw here turn over.

Had her for four yrs since Feb of 04 with 73k miles.
The motor though has about 62k miles since it's a 5.5L motor from an E55 which had 35k miles at the time.

I never had a tranny issue(knock on wood). I just give her regular maintenance(synthetic tranny fluid, filter) and her occasional 150mph run to get the carbon out of her.

This is one damn good Mercedes Benz and she still looks like new. Anyone else in the elite 100,000 mile club?

Sometimes I wonder if I should commit the immortal sin and sell her and not put more mileage on her but it would be very hard to sell her.

She's been good to me!!

Is that just to make us feel better or are you somewhat serious? Mine turned 100,000 2 weeks or so ago.

GREAT! I just wished I had mine from new. My car runs real good and sounds strong. The only thing it has is a cluck cluck sound at idle and when I give it gas. I'm going to have to post a link to the npise to see what you guys think it may be. To me sounds like maybe some kin of bearing noise. I would love to kno what it sounds to you c43 owners!

I'm about 200miles shy of 100k miles. My c36 runs like a champ! Doesn't burn any oil. The rear tires are almost to the wear bars putting only 12k on it. Yes I drive it hard! I use Castrol syntec.AMG BTW Carl I was looking at a low mileage 02 CLK 55 AMG asking $22k should I jump on it?

YES!!! And believe me you won't regret it. You'll be saying I should have done this a long time ago. The 5.5L motor is a real BEAST!! You'll only be 50lbs heavier than me as well. So it would be a nice race!!

Also I saw a 04 e55 for under $40k I would have to sell the 350z. The c36 stays for a long time.

Then it's a no brainer. Get the CLK55 and you'll forget about the C36 TRUST ME!!!! The C43 IMOP is more reliable than the C36. No head gasket issues or 4 speed transmission.

123k

I am at 122 or 123k, cant remember, no major problems. Just went on a really long trip for easter and the car performed beautifully. Still race anything that comes near.
