Will the trannys even match up? or the motor mounts? Doesnt seem worth it when C36s are goin for cheap these days and that will outrun a 430

I couldn't understand one word of that babble you just spewed, English class, did you take it?

So you want to put a 4.3 motor in your 2.8 car?

Yes you will need a bigger radiator.

If u have an inline 6 u r just better of dropping in a motor from a C36 or just turbochrging your present motor if it's the inline 6.

forget it, you need transmission, bigger brake set up etc.
sell your 280 and buy a clean c43, that's it.

Just drop a C36 motor in with all the right mods, it will cost you MUCH less then that conversion your trying to attempt...

The C43 is NOT just a stock W202 with a stock 4.3 M113 engine. If that were the case it'd be badged as a C430 and this forum wouldn't exist. What you're proposing would net you the automotive equivalent of a chimp in a cowboy hat.

If your 280 is actually mint just sell it and buy a lightly distressed C43, even the worst of them will need a lot less work than some C280/E430 chimera. I got one of mine in Orlando, I can't imagine you'd have to wait too long for another to crop up down there.

a turbo and an automatic transmission should never be together. Its like dating a supermodel but having no dick.

Turbo'ing a car is also a lot more complicated and a lot more hassle than you sound like your ready for. I also see you only got one car, so not the way to go.

plus its automatic.
