thats the way it came stock. mine also has the mercedes star and sport underneath. back then they had a few different version c-classes. Classic, Elegance, Esprit & Sport. the C43 was the sport version. the C43 should also have "sport" decals and the sides of the front fenders. you should be able to get them from your dealer if you dont

mmm not sure but..here it was more..
classic, sport or elegance for every model and C43 AMG was not a '' sport '' model.. i guess they just took shift knob from the sport one cause they didn't have any
