I have been ignoreing an issue for almost a month now and i need to bring it to the light... as i lay into the throttle her rpms sky rocket and her tranny doesnt catch. she screams up the road and finally a JERK! tranny slippidge..? kick down what is this what should I do ?

Do you have a 5 speed or a 4 speed transmission?
Have you checked the oil level?
Does it do this in any gear or a particular gear?
Any difference hot/cold?
Does it do it all the time or intermitantly?

what should I do ?

if its only in first u need to take it to a mechanic, u might need to fit a stronger spring for the 1st gear bond, saves u opening up the gear box for a rebuild
