SOLVED: Cruise Control Magnetic Clutch Disengaging
Here we go again, Part III.
Enjoy. You are looking at an M104 ETA (Electronic Throttle Actuator) enabled throttle body assembly with the integrated harness and connector.
Need to buy 20- and 22- gauge automotive wire before I can complete this job.

Having just done this job, I can give a bit of advice as well:
- It is best to avoid using the original rubber harness sleeve
- I used 20 gauge wiring and it worked very well
- Home depot has the supplies to help you weatherproof this harness: Waterproof Electrical Tape (self-amalgamating electrical wrap) and Liquid Tape (for sealing the connector and the harness entry point into the throttle body)

Oh well. I know I won't be buying replacement harnesses of any kind. Will craft all my own.

However, C36s are older, so they bring the problems out quicker.
The M104 ETA problem applies to E320 and S320s as well as early C280. Not just W202 but also W124.

I applaud you in your discoveries as well as your how to's on harness rebuilds. Keep up the good work Trending Topics
This is a 1995 911. This is known to fry a DME (ecu) and other electronics in a 911.
