Personally, I find washing your car methodically, and comprehensively, quite a therapeutic experience. It actually relaxes you after a busy week of work.

Of course, some of you have never had to work probably!

My detailing sessions last for like 3 hours. And I'm pretty worked by the end of it. but it results in at least a week of shiny shiny fun.

I wholeheartedly agree with you! It is very therapeutic for me too. When detailing/polishing/cleaning a car I actually find time to think about a lot of stuff and cleanse the mind. Though I'm physically tired by the end of the day, I feel much better. Only swimming gives me the same effect though with more adrenaline after the swimming session. Plus driving a car that you know is clean in and out just feels as good. You would think the car drives better though its probably the driver, driving better now that he/she is mentally de-stressed.

Uh, this weather shows no signs of letting up. Do you guys want to postpone until clear skies return?

Just checked with the weather forecast and it will be raining tmr. However, it's only very light rain and we only get 1mm of precipitation... so, i say we go for it.
