Man... the MCT would be a nice add-on. I'm not really a big fan of the automatic transmission of the C63... a Dual Clutch Tranny, like porsches, would make it the perfect car...

If they do add the mct tranny, i wonder how much it would add to the price.

Hi guys,

since im about to order a new C63 later this year, i talked to a guy at AMG in Afalterbach i know from some driving events. He is responsible for new AMG models, so i guess he knows what hes talking about.

He told me, that there will be a performance package "2" available at about Mai / June 2009

The performance package2 will include:

- new suspension (maybe a KW adjustable)
- new interior carbon parts
- new exterior carbon parts
- new high performance brakes (ceramic?)
- engine upgrade! (525hp ?)
- new exhaust system!

this sounds like a "black series light" version to me.

I will post new information as soon as i know

greetings from Germany

I just e-mailed my dealer with the above info. Let's see what he says - he should know.
I'm supposed to be getting mine in May so let's hope we're wrong or I'll have to wait 'till September for a 2010.

Your dealer will probably say "I don't know. But I recommend you to stay with your delivery" Otherwise he will have to sell your car of the floor to a next buyer and maybe he wiil have to add a discount on it.

Probably not available in the USA. Heck we can't even order the 19" AMG wheels.

Most dealers don't know much. I find that this forum is way more informative than salesman at the dealership. When MB screwed up the initial 2009's with missing pieces of the PP I knew way before the dealer. Got the info right here.

Dealer called back and told me 2010 model has no changes at all in North America. He did confirm some changes were on the way for Europe though. Might make it here by 2011 or 2012 model. That's all I got guys, sorry.

New options for the US Market 2010 C63 includes Keyless Go and Rear View Camera. Everything else stays the same.

I wonder if we can order the part on the Keyless Go and DIY?

Slowin, we're not getting those specs, didn't you know? In North America we are 3 years behind Europe engineering

In Canada we already have Keyless Go and back-up camera is totally useless if you have the back-up sensors. That's why there are no changes to Canadian 2010 model.

But imagine you're Jamie Lee Curtis in one of those scenes where Michael Myers is chasing you down, you get into your car and try to escape. Then you start fumbling around with the keys and it just won't go into the ignition slot, and as you panic, you drop your keys on the floor, and all the while he's getting closer and closer.

I'll bet Jamie Lee wished she had keyless go.

You will not only need Keyless Go modules but also swap out push button start shifter, and all door handles with keyless go lock/unlock buttons from the obvious visual hardware changes.

I think Michael Myers is just a fictitious movie character. :o

From what I've been able to learn,
the first handful of US 2010's will be built the last week of June. Figure they will show up in east coast dealers in late July, or mid-August to the west coast.
