C63 no Secondary Cats

I felt a difference with the throttle response, sounds alot meaner! I think there is more performance gain aswell, I'm gonna do a b4 and after on the dyno. I made a b4 and after sound rec and I'll post these too To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

I have been hearing from one member here and another in the BS forum that says no real gains. I sure like to see some before and after dynos to confirm one way or the other.

The first CAT is where it meets the exhaust manifold at the engine. The secondary ones are located downstream about half-way.

If there is a gain, I am going to swap out the secondary CATs with T304 SS resonators from Vibrant. They make one with a 9" body and overall length of 12" that should fit.

I'm going with custom long tubes and deleting both cats. I already have the Kleeman ECU tune. I live in a rural area whwre emissions are not part of vehicle inspection. I'll post dyno results when complete. I'm also going with the Quaiffe LSD. Couldn't see spending the extra for the OS Giken and it is a clutch type anyway.

It will be done at MVR Motorsports. They also have an arm called" Racing Solutions." They are in Bridgeport, TX. They have not completed the work yet, so we'll have to wait and see.

I had Scott @ http://hi-flocustom.com/home.html put in some resonators and change the tips on my Ultimate racing exhaust on the 335. He is more than capable of cutting out the secondary cats and replacing it w/ a straight pipe. His prices are very reasonable...did I mention he drives an AMG?
