+1 on the 70-170 runs BUT I don't think the m6 would hang after 150. M6 530Hp the most. silver dragon 470 to wheel is 573hp. The weight is about 100 lighter in the c63 and horsepower comes into play at does speeds. If the race happens make a vid would love to see that.

Totally, if I start in 2nd gear I'm buzzing around 7k rpm and have to shift almost immediately. From what I read most M5/M6 guys do 60-130 in 3rd. They seem about the same. Whats worse is 4th to 5th is at 128mph...right before 130.

Our gearing must be identical but I just solved that 4-5 gear problem with taller tires. HEHEHEHEHE!

At high triple digits speeds parasitic loss through your automatic tranny will come into play. Another very important value is the over all drag (not just the CD).

The SMG III also has 7 forward gears, no overdrive gear so it's all for speed... it's why stock M5/M6's hit 200 stock.

60-130 is 9.37!! Not bad for a four door.
Good job!

Put the taller tires on to eliminate the 4th-5th shift along with being cooler weather and we ran 8.88 60-130. YEEHAW!! Are we having fun yet?
Not bad for a four door all motor car.
Sent Steve the files to post on 6speedonline.com

PS: Made a one mile run again with the vbox and registered 176mph. Not bad for Florida weather runs!!

Great runs! Your updates keep inching me toward MHP over the other tuning packages.

I haven't visited this thread since page 2. I have been wondering the same thing as well. The manifold is larger, but I wondered if we left the stock manifold and replaced with some 200 cell cats, how much less HP would that combo make vs K2; provided that KLEEMANN will still offer the K2 tune for existing K1 owners?

Boost Gomez - "Great runs! Your updates keep inching me toward MHP over the other tuning packages."

Trust me, you'll be glad you go with MHP if thats the decision you make. They have excellent tunes and hardware and will continue to find new upgrades. They are the only ones with L/T headers that have provenly built power and now have a 3" catback system in the works. I have the race ported heads(only ones with that) and the cams will be available by the end of the year. No one else is taking this package that far. Go with MHP and don't turn back.

God Bless,
Keith Brantley

WOWOW this thread is at well over 100 comments.

I can imagine when mthis gets tires and we match up 1 of the members here with a LET tune/pulley E55 vs mthis modded C63. It's going to get fun

An E55 will need to be heavily modded to hang with Mthis. My friend has a stage 5 Renntech and we run side by side now. He's run low 11's in cold air so the E55 better be ready. Good luck!

As of right now we have 2 guys ready to go. 1 e55 with just tune/pulley and another with tune/pulley/headers. All we are waiting on is Mthis getting some tires .

FYI - I meant no disrespect to the E55. They are great cars. All I was saying is that it will be a good run and everyone better be on their best game because it can go either way. If they run more than twice back to back the E55 will get heat soaked. For it to be fair the E55 will require a cool down between runs or at least thats been my experience. Good luck and be safe!

No disrespect was taken. I know as most E55 owners know that we cant do 4 runs back to back from each other. When I raced mthis and the M5 I just made a thread about I let the car cool down after every 2 runs.
