"Cruise Control Inoperable" message

Got about 2500 miles on my new 09 C63 and randomly got a "Cruise Control Inoperable" message on my display this morning. Restarted the car and the message went away, but I'm still wondering if I should have the issue checked out by the dealer since another thread I found suggested it was related to the ABS.

Anyone else experience this, and if so, how was it resolved?

Did you accidentally tap the cruise control stick when ESP is off?

No, I'm certain of that.

Only time I ever saw that message was when the front and rear tires were different diameter (outside acceptable limits) the cruise control would work for a moment and then kick off (and throw the messgae), but that could be duplicated time after time and yours seems to be a one time fluke.

The same thing happened to my car a few times when the car was fairly new (around 2 or 3 thousand km). It just went away afterwards and never reappeared.
