Somebody in a Mars Red C63 is going to join in.
The weather also looks like it's going to be fantastic w/ a high of 68-degrees and sunny!
I'm headed down the night before. A few others mentioned cruising down together the morning of. Be sure to be there by 10:00am!
CONFIRMED PARTICIPANT LIST
1. Even Money, 2009 C63 (Stock Tune)
2. superlubricity, 2010 C63 (Kleemann K2 Tune, MHP Catless Headers, Evosport Pulley)
3. nrgy, 2008 C63 (MHP V3 Tune, MHP Catless Headers, Carbonio Airbox)
4. cek, 2010 C63 P31 (Stock P31 Tune)
5. B.E.R.U.A.N.G, 2008 C63 (Eurocharged Tune)
6. avengerboater, 2010 C63 (Kleemann K2 Tune, MHP Catless Headers)
7. impulsoren, 2006 M5
UNCONFIRMED BUT "INTERESTED" LIST
8. rdl666, 2010 C63 P31 (Stock P31 Tune) <--- Likely out due to a scheduling conflict
9. MoMorg, 2009 G8 GT <---- Has not confirmed
10. 99Blkcobravert, 1999 Cobra (2003 Cobra Motor) <---- Has not confirmed
----------------
I'm going to be paying the difference out of my own pocket to keep the cost @ $165/car for all the other cars in the event we don't reach 10-cars. If we can get a few more cars involved the per car price starts to come down and everyone benefits. Call your friends fellas, all are welcome.
I'll also find out on Friday what other local cars Gene was able to get. Either way this is going to be awesome. Expect a ton of photos and video!
I'm really shocked not to see any BMW 3-series cars. The 335i and M3s can be quick as hell when modded. You'd think they'd want to join in.

Sweet, I was hoping avenger could make it I'm asking around for some more participants so hopefully I hear back from them soon! Would be nice to get at least 15 cars.

B.E.R.U.A.N.G is trying to get his buddy with an M6 to join.
Gene at Woodburn has a few cars that might join too . . . one if which is in the 9's.
I'll be sending an email tonight to the confirmed list. This is going to be awesome.

It was a freaking blast. Thank you to all that came out today. Collectively we made over 150 runs. Pretty impressive.
Below are the best two runs, sorted by ET and MPH for each participant. These are all uncorrected. DA (according to Dragtimes) ranged from 500-700ft today; based on the heat/humidity at the track today I'd say that is a bit understated.
On to the results.

Congratulations to everyone on some good runs. Wayne good to see that the headers without a tune gained so much. Around .3 and 4mph. Also about a .1 on the 60'. Wish this would have worked out for me to come. Sounds like a blast.

I had a hoot today guys!
Super: thanks a TON for setting this up. Paypal (with some extra thrown in) is "in the mail".
Drag radials v. street tires make ALL the difference. I am confident I would have had very low 12s if I had drag radials. I never did get a really good launch.
Oh, and the GREAT thing about a private strip rental like this? I think I had at LEAST 30 runs. I'll have to add up all the timeslips I have :-).
Some photos below. Videos to come...

I was actually amazed at how well this car hot-lapped. I know there was more in there if I would have let it cool for a good hour. Both avenger and nrgy have the power to join me in the elevens. They just need some DRs.
Anyhow, B.E.R.U.A.N.G's car was neck in neck with the P31 stock car all day long. They actually tied ET and MPH (low 114's) twice when they ran heads-up. I've got all 150+ runs in front of me. It wasn't until I layed down about 2/3 of my Nitto tread on a well prepped lane when he made an incredible pass as he finally got some traction on those street tires.

He's going to be famous for that one.
We should really make a new post for all these photos and videos. I've got a ton I need to process.
