Team EVL C63 by CEC Miami
Hello board,
I've started this post to show the work that has gone into Team EVL's C63 Bullrun Rally car. This 2010 C63 first saw action in last year's 2010 Bullrun Rally. We were so happy with the performance, comfort, and usefulness of this great car, that we decided to use it on the 2011 Bullrun Rally....but not before we made some additional changes.
CEC Miami first built the car in May 2010 with the following equipment:
2010 C63 with P31 pkg
-CEC Tuning aerodynamics pkg
-full black out of all chrome w/ custom logos
-Smoked corner markers and taillights
-Painted engine cover
-Matte gray wrap
-CEC Tuning 580hp powerkit (consists of ECU, manifolds, cat delete, air filters, and full exhaust)
-H&R coilover suspension
-CEC c881 forged wheels (19x8.5 front 19x10 rear)
-Michelin PS cup tires
-Escort Passport 9500ci w/ jammers (fully intergrated)
-ATL additional fuel tank with pump
-CEC custom smoke screen
It was a mirror build to CEC West's C63, less the custom interior and a couple custom goodies provided by the artists formally known as technicians at CEC Miami. This is how the car looked for the 2010 Bullrun with the equipment specified above.

Current work in progress:
The car performed perfectly during the 2010 Bullrun rally, but 3600 miles of full on racing and three track events, left Team EVL's C63 in need of some freshening. Parts that were replaced are as follows:
-new front grills
-new windshield
-new headlights
-new Michelin PS Cup tires
-repainted front bumper and re-cleared carbon parts
-Added Brembo brake kit with slotted rotors (p31 pkg brakes were toast after the mountain runs in Utah, Arizona and Colorado)
-Replaced H&R coilovers with Bilstein PSS10 (allowed for greater adjustability, and H&R had taken a beating)
-Full custom interior with alcantara headliner (blk leather, blk alcantara, w/ red stitching..EVL crest on headrest) {we couldn't let Claus have all the fun}
-scanner and private radio with extended reach (custom installed to keep them out of sight)
-Fully customized NX direct port nitrous system with supplemental fuel system and composite bottle (100hp shot)
This phase of the build is currently going on. Here are some shots of our progress...

Answers to some of the questions posted:
Wheel and tire specs: CEC Forged c881F style in 19x8.5 front with 235/35/19 Michelin Cup and 19x10 rear with 265/30/19 Michelin Cup (19x10 rear is a custom fitment made for our Bullrun car. CEC makes the actual fitment in a 19x9.5) Finish is Mercedes Gloss blk and Iridium Silver face.
Tuning kit: Made in Germany for CEC. 580hp; 682NM torque. Custom ECU map, air filters, 3" dump tube manifolds, cat delete pipe, x-pipe, mufflers.
Exhaust: Custom fabricated in Germany for CEC. Part of 580hp tuning kit. I'll post a sound clip if I can figure out how. Jets on the tips are for CEC's custom smoke screen set up.
Interior: more pics to come once completed. Not an inch of plastic left in this interior.

What coil-overs are those. It says H&R, but i have H&R coil-overs, and they only have height adjusment. Those look like Bilstein Pss9/10, which i thought were only made for the regular C class.

it says bilstein right on them.now i need to find out,cuz i want them for my car. hey walter,did you ever order that big fin diffuser? edit:they mention in the second post that they replaced the H&Rs with PSS10s.we should read everything first.

I didnt get the diffuser, was worried about fitment, and i scored a brand new Euroteck CF diffuser for less than the Ebay one.
