the PSE pump is giving out. Happened to my S500 the drivers door stopped sucking in. The pump is located in the trunk.

Out of curiosity, how can a failing pump only affect one door?

The pump is in the boot and has a clutch with pipes leading to the front doors and boot lid. It sounds as if one of these has worked loose rather than the pump failing.
Edit: Looks like it is a faulty solenoid. Worksheet Information enclosed. Door Control.pdf Last edited by AMWebby; 11-11-2009 at 06:03 AM. Reason: New information |
