Thx for the pics
Will be interesting to see how many of these CL 4Matics they can sell in NYC/Chic...esp in environment of plummeting new luxury car sales.... If I were in NYC/Chic, I'd much rather drive a new 600 (w/18" winter tires) for winter commuter use....lack of ABC is a major active safety weakness of 4Matic, as is lack of 600's more powerful brakes.... Even in Chic, much of winter is simply cold/dry, w/rare deep snow...and for 7mos/yr of non-winter, ABC, brakes and summer max perf tires are far superior safety features vs any 4Matic... |

I will buy the new CL 4Matic. I love the CL only held back was none were available in 4Matic version, and where I live we get tonnes of snow!

4matic is standard on all CL550's now, there isn't a rwd 550 anymore, so if they are going to sell any CL 550's they will be 4matic regardless.

well, I took delivery of my CL550 4 Matic 2 weeks ago. I do regret the lack of ABC, but , as bad as traffic is here in Atlanta, I wouldn't have had much chance to really use the ABC to it's fullest. That said, what a GREAT car it is to drive ,anywhere!

Are the ABCs missing with the 4 Matics? Also, does it require special tires? I have heard that all Mercedes beginning in 2010 will have smaller, turbo engines to achieve the same power but with smaller engines. Has anyone else heard that? Jack |

ABC isn't available on any 4Matic S-Class or CL. Engine updates are all up in the air right now, no official information.
