windshield washer

Do you guys/gals notice that the washer fluid hits the windshield a split second after the wipers move? which results in a dry wipe. I believe all the mercedes operate like this. I know with bmws and maseratis, the fluid comes out first. Does anybody think this can be reprogramed? This tends to bother me everytime i reach for the washer(twice a day).

Never paid attention to this but actually you are right.
Just checked it on mine. Same thing, I also wonder about some kind of adjustment to dry run/windsheld scratch
