Smile The Auto Addiction just installed my Renntech

I have just had my 2008 CL600 Renntech ECU/TCU tuning installed by The Auto Addiction of Lindenhurst, N.Y.

First of all- Great Guys!!
They came to my home, removed and later installed the 2 computers as well as BMC air filters.

Service and technical abilities are second to none!

Now for the results-
Prior to the Renntech upgrade, the car was quite fast and had tremendous torque. Well, it is a different car now! You have to learn how to drive it, as it will smoke the tires at will. Even with the ESP on, at about 30 mph, the tires just broke loose for about 50 feet.

With the ESP off, from a standing start, you could smoke the tires to about 50mph.

Learning to feather the gas pedal, will definitely yield 1/4 mile times in the 11 sec bracket at over 120 mph. Great upgrade and great job by The Auto Addiction!

How is the shifting now? Is there a sportier feel to the transmission? Did you try to shift using the steering wheel buttons?

I'm excited for you and can't wait to get mine! We have to get together at the track sometime! We will drive the mustang guy crazy!

The shifting is excellent. In fact, I was so excited in the overall performance that I didn't even feel the car shift. The squeel of the tires were so loud that I really did not hear any shift changes either. I still have a lot of experimenting to do- but the thing is awesome!
