CL63-HOW WOULD IT HANDLE IN THE SNOW?

I am contemplating getting a CL63 and would like to know if anyone has any experience with this car in snow! How would it handle against the CL550 4matic, especially if you put 4 snows on the CL63?

I would welcome all info. Thanks

Ok, but not great.

I live near Boston, which has about the suckiest weather ANYWHERE and I have 20" Cont's. I have other cars so never drove on the day of a storm and had no real problems but I think that this year I'll get some other wheels and tires for the winter.

CL550 4Matic sucks....primitive, inept Airmatic chassis; weak 550 brakes; plastic econobox/SUV-like interior; and grossly underpowered....and need to waste effort swapping out std all-season tires for proper winter tires for 5mos/yr...

Some in NYC region got new 600s as winter beater cars...and seem pleased, as 600's puny brakes allow easier fit of sufficiently girlie winter wheels/tires...

For 63, may want to look into the 19" wheels that CL63, IIRC, has std in EU...IMO, much better-looking than those silly AMG-poseur 550 wheels...

I have to stop reading these posts as you now have me thinking calipers that are not the size of a small condo are girlyesque. Those of us not lucky enough to live all year in Palm Springs or Palm Beach still need traction in the winter, even if only to get home after an unforseen winter event. I have 19" AMG wheels with Yokohama Advan S4's that are excellent for inclement weather and also function better than the oe 20's, when the temperature is below 40 degrees. I figure i am going to purchase several sets of tires during my ownership of this car, so I may as well have "season specific" tires when needed.
