Need Help: Ceramic or Metallic Tint?

Hi. I was going to use Llumar window tint but I recently read about ceramic based window tint. Ceramic is more expensive. What are the advantages and disadvantages? Any opinion on Llumar vs. 3M? Anyone know of a good tint shop in South Florida? Thanks in advance.

ceramic = doesn't interfere with your navigation/sat radio and is worth getting especially for the minor amount extra you have to pay over metallic

I was checking a month ago on some of the tint forums, and there are many installers having trouble with the others, with radio, phone and nav reception issues, and when things go wrong, blaming it on the dealer, customer etc.

I'd be real careful. Also, they are having shrinkage and fit problems with back windows, and in particular, if they have not put felt onto the guides, scratching of the tint in a very short time, which again they are blaming on everyone but themselves. Apparently, many don't want to remove door panels, because they are difficult to get off and put back on and without the felt, end up screwing up your windows within a few weeks or months!
