CL55 Engine mounts...

I was at the dealer for an oil change when the tech told me my engine mounts, tranny mount, flex disc were crapped. Is this a hard repair to take on myself? I have never worked on a benz, and it couldn't be anymore complicating than my previous BMW's. Is there any pointers before I attempt? And where is the cheapest place i can find these parts? Also they mentioned something about the ABC line leaking from the pump, should I take on that repair or is it not worth the effort?

Can't comment on the difficulty of the mounts but mine went on more than 1 occasion. Replacing the ABC pump was a warranty treat too, if I remember correctly, the pump itself was $900 plus labor. It was a $2,600 job, I think.

what problems are you having to be told you have these faults.
If the pump is the one controlling the ABS brakes it should be fixed out of warranty, but mine had a dash warning saying reduced brake distance,
does yours have any warnings?

My warranty is expired. I purchased a shop manual and by looking at the job its the same amount of labor as any old car. I found motor mounts, and transmission mounts on autohausaz.com, they're $70 a piece for motor mounts, and $18 for transmission mounts. http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro...ission%20Mount http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro.../Motor%20Mount
