63NA vs 55K Challenge
AutoclubRaceway in Fontana, Tomorrow, Sunday, Nov 2, 7am-5pm, $20 all day. This is a quarter-mile drag. I will be there at 1pm. Ask to be in Group 4 if you arrive late. You can still get your maximum 6 runs if you arrive after 1pm since the crowd lightens up after lunch. This is the last street legal race of the year in So. Cal but Dec 6 is definitely the last day of 2008 before it starts up again in Feb 2009. Track times my be slower than usual since track is at 2000 sea elevation.
You can line up against each other, BMWs, Vettes, Audi's, Porsche's, etc... I was there today and got six runs in. Lined up against a Vette, Chevelle, Mustang, 350Z, GTO. Lost to the modified Vette who did 11.7. Bring a helmet if you run under 13.0 ET quarters
