Looking for a technical handbook

I'm looking for a tecnical handbook for my A 160 (W168)
I'd like to do myself some of the minor maintanance issues, but I cannot find anything on the net. Changing/repairing electrical parts, brakes, suspensions and so on. A handbook that describes how to make a diagnosis, where to look for localizing a problem and guidelines about a solution.

Do you have a suggestion?

Thx in advance,

Greetings from Denmark

Good resource online... in German

Actually, I've found (on the Tech Talks forum) a really good resource: http://www.elchfans.de/.

It's just a pity that it's in German! Well, I'll try to translate it somehow...

some very basic infos (fuses etc) are in the electronic manuals (http://www4.mercedes-benz.com/e/cars...g/default.htm), but i guess those are in the printed manual as well...

if you know someone at a mb-workshop, ask him to lend you the "Introduction into A-Classe Modell 168" for copying. or perhaps he can even order it for you. it's literature number 6516125702, and is now available for less than 10 euro (+vat+handling). it has a nice overview, some diagrams etc.

just checked: there's no workshop information cd for 168 yet (only for 201/202/123/124). too bad, those cds have a lot of information for under 100 bucks (but are only available for older cars)
