Out of the two, I like the 1st option better, its different from what you normally see on most clk's. I'm not really into the red with silver combo, thats just me though. Thats why I was thinking of the getting the wheels with the black lip and polished spokes.
The idea is great, go for it!

i'm actually diggin # 2. didn't think it would look good til i saw it!!! really makes me wanna do the black wheels w/ red lip. it's not too expensive, but i think the car should be pretty low in order to look cool, and i haven't and don't plan on lowering my 55

Hersh,
Decisions ...decisions...along with opinions. I won't tell you what to do but I'll tell you that you may not like the red lines after a while. Do wut-cha like tho...becuz it's all about wut you want. I choose #1.

I would do #1 with silver wheels and black lips.

I say you go with #1 with all black wheels. You can use red vinyl to add the pinstripe and switch it up when you get bored. Like a silver pinstripe, red, blue, whatever! Thats what I plan on doing in the future. Plus your hood design is different than mine (goes all teh way to the grill like Roberts)

Here's an idea but my skills really suck. The wheels could be different or the same and the red center cap was just for fun but it's an option instead of having the Power Ranger hood....just messin with you.

Here's my MS paint attempt at what my wheels would look like black w/ a red lip...keeping the chrome bolts and having black/chrome centercaps. I tried red in the caps and it was no good. w/ some red calipers i think it would be nice.

ahmad ..thanks for the links...i think im just gunna end up doin the all flat black wheels with silver pinstripe at first ...then later on down the road ..ill change it up to red pinstripe on the wheels and red pinstripe vinyl around the black on the hood and grille...
sam - ya ive actually thought about that idea too and it looks good but it might be too much for what im going for... guitarist - looks greatt...do itttt....red calipers arent relly even necessary..it might end up being too much red or it might be just right..not sure

I can't see red centercaps working all to well. Definitely go for it!deyainrdy4ds, I still like option #1 best, even though I like Clk Fan's idea too, option #1 is a little more subtle imo.
