First off... I would like to thank everyone for their support and inquiries. A special thanks goes to Brad O. @ EvoSport for finally pointing me in the right direction!!!

So, without further delay I would like to introduce - EP-1

Exhaust Plenum - 1 or E-P-1... That's what we call it!

This version is crafted from 304 stainless steel. The runners measure 1.75" on the O.D. leading into a 2.25" collector. They will be installed some time this week and testing will begin shortly after.

W203 slightly modified
I notice in the second photo that the exhaust is about 4 times the size of the car.

Naw.. Nothing fancy like that. I'm just a lowly airport engineer. The picture in my sig was one of my projects...

I will see if I can dig some pictures up.

I pick up the car in the morning and have a dyno scheduled for Friday. The rest of the exhaust is here in the den with me... Once I get the numbers for EP-1 I will get the rest installed.

I will post the installed pics tomorrow.

Good evening Gentleman...

I did pick up my car today, and it is good to have her back!!!

Now down to business:

Even with the new design, the EP-1's fit 'like a glove'. The only downside is to get a true measure of the headers performance I had the dealership install the full factory exhaust (all 4 cats). I can tell you that it is real punchy but nothing like it will be when the rest of the exhaust is installed.

The dyno is scheduled for Friday and I will be posting the results.

Drum Roll Please.....

A couple of things first, I really underestimated the amount of heat these things put out. I was getting massive heatsoak on the airbox and airtubes. With that problem corrected it was off to the dyno....

Setup:
W208 CLK55 AMG Airbox
Green Filters
EP-1's
Full Factory Center Section (All 4 Cats!!)
Eissamann Race Muffler

This all adds up to...

254 rwhp
244 rwtq

The new center section will be installed tomorrow and the dynos will follow after I rack up some miles. So, let me know what you think!!

nice gains. i had lower #'s w/ my 99 430. i think 230 whp and 239 wtq was the best run. This was with the K&N's, amg airbox, and eisenmann muffler. it was getting warm and humid outside tho

Bump

See this is for V8. Can you do the same for the V6 engine with Price / Dyno / HP Gain Stats?

If you have not done so already you may also want to post this on

Mymbonline.com and Benzworld.org
