clk 430's are pretty soft. check wheel pressures, alignment, wheel weights/balancing. no reason why you should think its "harsh or rough" at all.

how much tread do you have left also? what tires are you on as well?

my car is kinda in the middle, not too firm, not too soft, and have that feeling of driving a sport car

i have stock wheels and tires and have about 70% tread left. my friends 3 series rides very smooth and his car is lowered. and my brothers is350 rides even more smooth. when i hit a bump, it feels like i hit it very hard, like a loud thud. do you think its because one of my motor mounts is busted? my car idles very hard.

sounds to me like the front ball joints and/or bushings are worn.

I'm hearing a similiar noise in the front right wheel.
