trans goes into limp mode

i posted a while back about the problem and a few people suggested a maf and throttle position sensor . looking at things i dont think that is the problem.....under the gas pedal when the pedal is pushed to the floor it will hit some kind of button mounted into the floor. when that button is pressed is when i go into limp mode. Im thinking its maybe some sort of electronic trans kick down switch or something?
any idea of what the problem could be?

Dump the codes. That may tell you what's wrong.
