The Best Launch
In your experiance whats done best for you?
1. Holding the brake taping the gas reving the rpms and release (ASR OFF + Tiptronic Shift) 2. Just slamming the pedal to kickdown switch (ASR ON + Auto Shift) 3. Controlled push of the accelerator within the limits of just loosing traction (ASR OFF + Tiptronic Shift) For me its been #3

Before making the pass, do the adaptive throttle reset. With the car in drive, and a foot on the brake, raise the revs to 1000 RPM. When the light turns green, immediately move the pedal ¾ of the way down, and modulate it until full throttle is possible without spinning the rears. At full throttle, make sure the button under the pedal is pressed in. With almost 30% more torque, your 55 will requires a much better touch than a CLK430.

Don't manually shift it.... It takes to long... It is not like a BMW.
