Front Brake Replacement Options for less dust...
OK I cant stand the OE dust on my rims from the brake pads and I think I'm going to replace them early.
I'm wondering what everyone has replaced theirs with that isnt OEM. Someone correct me is that I think that the rotors cannot be turned, and new ones are needed? I've seen good things about Akebono pads, and wondering if slotted rotors will help in terms of dust wise. I'm not looking for anything performance oriented- just LESS DUST! If i can find aftermarket rotors cheaper than OE I will go that route too. thanks!

akebono's are awesome. i dont have them on the clk yet, but have them on a e46 bmw. slotted rotors, not sure if that helps with dust at all, i thought it was just for heat issues and such.
also, you cant turn or machine down our rotors i believe, must purchase new ones. |

I use akebono's up front and MB stocks in the back. Totally dust-free but they don't stop "as good" as factory MB pads.
