Id also like to know. Switching asp off doesn't completely turn it off.

Maybe the 430 is different, but with mine off I get the orange light on the dash and tires up in smoke if not careful. The only part of the system that remains "active" is the limited slip rear and no way,or desire, to turn that off.

My friend in MB dealer told me that even you turn off the ESP , you can only have 30% of fun, the rest still in the ecu. i don't know if that's true or not,

Yeah, I've heard of some saying to pull a fuse or unplug the ABS. Never tried either.

OH REALLY???!!!

I'm going to try this weekend.

So...if you pull both fuses, do you still have to use the traction control button or is the traction control just permanently off?

Does removing the ABS or EPS do any harm?

ESP only reduces the electronic 'nanny', it does not turn it off. We do not have a limited slip differential - we have an 'open' diff.

The W208 does not have 'dyno mode' like many of the newer AMGs have. As da_guitarist and others have noted, you can remove a fuse to the ABS (and perhaps another), but this is not recommended.

All that being said, you can still have fun by switching ESP off.
