Can a 4-matic drive train be installed in an 01 clk430?

I have a 2001 Clk430 that I love but have never been comfortable with driving it in ice or snow. I have tried all-season tires and its ok but not enough. I have been looking for a new car with AWD for a few years and cant find anthing that I like as much as my Clk. Save maybe a Bentley Continental GT coupe. ( It's my Clk on Steroids!). So I have come up with the notion to customizing my car. But first I would like to make it AWD/4-Matic. If I am going to spend money on a new car I'm not that as crazy about, I figure I may as well look into what I could do with the money on the car I havent been able to part with for eight years. So.... does anyone know if its possible to convert the drive train to a 4-matic or other AWD? If so, anyone know where I might confidently have it done? Thanks for entertaining my questions.

Im sure it could be done, but good luck finding the right parts and finding someone that can do it right,,, and of course good luck on not paying with your left arm, leg and first born. Keep looking, or get better snow tires, unless your driving in some real extreme conditions i dont see why you need awd that bad.
