window issue

i had the drivers window module go out on my car so i ordered a new one and replaced it window rolls up and down but when rolling up window stops then automatically drops like a inch so its impossible to roll the window all the way up any ideas on whats going on

Did you try reseting your windows yet?

Turn the ignition switch to 2 close the window and hold the switch in the up mode for 10 sec,, you can do the same on the sun roof.

yup, but don;t need to be 10sec long, could be a bit shorter

ive tried this even with the switch pressed all the way up window still comes down that one inch someone mentioned something about a gear in the motor being off and needing rotated is this even possible
