Cruise Control/ Speedtronic Intermittent - W208 CLK 430

I did search for info on this but nothing seemed to come up that matches my particular problem.

The cruise control/ speedtronic works intermittently. Usually both will only operate at lowish speed (up to about 50ish mph), then after that the cruise wont work and the speedtronic will display the 'got to workshop' error screen. Sometimes this also happens at low speeds.

If this is an expensive job I can happily live without it, but if anyone else has had this problem and realised its minor, I would love to know how I can fix it.

If the rolling diameter of the front and rear tires are very different, the CC will turn off. This also confuses the stability control. What sized tires are you running - front and back?
