MAF symptoms

Hello,

i wrote yoar ago about some problem with speedtronic defekt. But the problem is still here. I was at 5 different MB shops but thay have no clue about the problem. The symptoms are that the car is slow as hell. Than the fuel consumption is a hihger than usual. Than when I turn off the MAF kabel the noise of the car is the same as when the MAF kabel is on.

In the sommer everything was OK and now is again time to time that this happens. Something is also strange that in the channel that goes to the MAF is a lot of oil. It is possible that time to time come this oil to the MAF senzor and this cause the problem??

Please help me i am desperate it is over a year and I still dont have the solution. Can please someone give some sugestion obout this MAF if it is possible that is this the problem or the oil in the channel.

Thank You in a advance.

OK sorry.

the CEL is the orange check engine light?
the O2 sensor is found on the exhaust around where the catalytic converters are up front around the transmission.
what happens when you push the gas paddle to the floor from a light?

if it was the MAF when you stepped on it the car would not go.

The biggest cause of oil in the MAF on this engine is a leak on the camshaft sensor seal, oil goes up the wring loom and into the MAF,,there is a simple mod for this,,and the MAF will wash off clean

Is there any oil around the cable that goes to the MAF, is the MAF oily,, the wiring loom to the Maf is joined to the wiring to the camshaft adjuster at the rear of the engine, the seal where the cables come out under the rear of the rocker cover can leak, this sends oil into the wiring loom and ends up in the MAF
