PLEASE NOTE: It's still being worked on as we speak

By the way... tell me what you guys think of it so far.

Looks great! Except for the opening on th other side with the tow hook showing. Is this going to be for sale or is it just for you?

Edit: So are you eliminating the spare tire well for the exhaust?

I would assume that the tow hook will be shaved of and a dual exit muffler will be split like mine and turned into a quad set up with an extension to the passenger side. If not he'll do a dummy tip....but I doubt he will get rid of his spare tire and gas tank.....that's way too much work.

As of right now, i'm still debating whether i should attempt to duplicate more of these or not. The ONLY mold available is actually over-seas. Since mine was the prototype, i have the first word in whether i want the mold destroyed or kept. LoL.

Correct.
No dummy tips here. Fully functional quad setup.
I was quoted at an exotic muffler place, meaning... they're main cars are mostly Lambo's, Ferrari's, Bentley's, Aston Martins, etc. \

The fabricator mentioned... "Yeah, we can definitely cut out and custom weld your trunk and gas tank area. We just finished doing it on two other W208 CLK's. It's really intensive but it came out looking very unique. Total parts and labor would run you about $2,800 and about 3 weeks of down-time with your car."

It's a run-on piping setup from my main muffler. I can actually fit another cylinder shaped muffler where our OEM muffler sits, but for now, it'll do. If i knew about how much space i had left, i would of definitely done it that way.

LoL. Glad you like it. Don't trip meng, depending on the situation with the mold, i'll let you know what's up. My favorite part about the diffuser is the exhaust tips openings. It's literally as wide as the SL's. About 11 inches per side. Crazy huh? Gangsta!!!

As far as what i have planned for my next mod.... I honestly don't know yet. I have yet to replace my front lower control arms real soon. They're in a terrible state right now. So bad, i can't even get an alignment. What a shame!

2,800?? i wouldn't dump that much into a exhaust.....just do sam's style, that's what i had on my benz too....

i like what you did but you got a lot of mods to go......

did you get the c63 diffuser in cf?

I don't think anyone in the right mind would drop that much money on a custom exhaust setup in the first place. I had my exhaust done somewhere else.

Yes... i do have lots of mods to go. Unfortunately, it takes time cause i'm a full time student at school about to graduate. So basically... it's the funds that's the issue.

No, it was custom molded through a computer picture that i've generated. Pretty impressive huh? I brought it to the shop, and MANY MONTHS later... it's finally on my car.

Well... since i just gave the shop a computer generated look, and i told them about what measurements i expected, i THINK my setup is very very close the the specs of a SL. The reason i say that is because the exhaust openings on each side is similar to the size of a stock SL55 / SL65 AMG rear bumper.
