If we can show enough interest to let them know that we want the kit.

Yes they are willing to make one for us!!!
NICE!!!!

Hello Sir,
you would like the DTM CLK kit and we are willing to make this kit for you.
We need to have the design of the kit. Do you want the racing version? The whole body? Or do you only want the front bumper? the rear bumper? the side panels? O do you want us to make a whole car on a tube chassis?
Could you be clear of exactly what you want thank you.
with regards
Mike

BUT....which version?

Edited: Pic

Normal dtm version

Racing version

err....too extreme

normal dtm kit would be better. ask them about their fitment too. You dont want to spend another 2k just to fit the kit they will make.

That sounds incredible but! the only thing is there is a reason that its a "DTM" body kit and not just some kits for clks.. because its made and for a DTM's im not sure how i would feel if i saw some guy having a normal clk with a DTM body kit. Its like what are you doing trying to pretend? lol

Are you trying to say... POSER!

I think its a great idea, cause I'm poor too. But who will ever take you seriously. Wasn't the DTM a limited production? Its like owning a Fiero/Lambo, you can alway tell the difference.

Owning Fake DTM CLK for secondary car isn't that bad but if you only have one car for everyday driving. I wouldn't recommend this. I'm poor but not THAT poor

It would make more sense to make a kit for a W208 b/c it wouldn't be a poser car, it would just be something unique and different for the 208 body.

Exactly it would be poser lets respect the DTM and the person who can actually afford it. your faults for being poor (: haha but if they had a kit with bigger fender flares and a unique skirt with a nice grill that doesn't look to much like the BLACK series or DTM im down (: don't want to disrespect the German Engineering.

I can agree with that. DTM or BS styling, without being a replica. And of course, NO RE-BADGING! I would rather hear "that kinda looks like a BS or DTM," than "Dude, how the hell did you get one of those?" Even if it were a spare car, I would still feel uncomfortable driving it around. I know, what are the odds of a real BS or DTM rolling up on you at the light on the way to dinner? Not very good, but people who drive NICE cars usually KNOW cars. I just wouldn't want to embarrass myself when it comes down to the throttle.

To each his own, but I'm not going to praise anyone who has a knock-off Lambo, Rolex, Prada, or DTM. If I were going to Pose, I would probably Pose with a Fiero/Lambo with a Norstar motor so I can look like this guy:

(No offense dude, I'm sure your's is the real deal)

My advice to you is If you can afford a new car don't buy used car

Are trying to be someone who you could never be?

Used car driver makes me and other drivers in this forum look so...ghetto

Please buy new civic or something and go to that forum and try to start a

fight. WE DON'T WANT YOU TO BE HERE

What the hell ? lol why are you getting all anal? he said nothing offense towards your statement at all... now your looking like little kid saying we don't want you here? he has 179 + post in this forum you only have 20 +... and he even said to each his own... if you want to do it go for it then...But he has a strong point stating that you and your car would look silly because its not a real DTM or BS.... lets not forget people we have MERCEDES BENZ not some 350z nissan.... or a lame scion haha this is not pimp my ride

BUT! like i said before find me a kit that looks simlilar and not the exact replica or to "pimpish"...Then ya im all for that!

Look who is trying to start a fight. I'm just expressing my opinion on the topic. Of course, you are one to comment on buying something you can't afford... "I wanna make my car look like something I could never afford, so I can impress my friends and the little high school girls who can't tell the difference." I'm sorry that you feel ghetto... you should seek professional help to deal with those personal issues.

FYI, I have been shopping around for a 63 to buy next Spring. If you knew anything about the current economy, used cars have less depreciation.

Thanks for backing me up w00tec!

Heck, for $6000, you can get the BS kit from the dealer!
