car alarm

I was just wondering what type of car alarm does the MB cars come with. And in what situation does it trigger. I never heard it go off which is a good thing but at the same time i want to know when does it go off.

triggers only if door is opened.... So if someone broke the window and climbed in without opening the door the alarm would prob not go off...

but there is a tilt sensor if someone tries to tow or jack up the car....

not even jsut those love taps. i was actually lightly side swipe awhile ago so thats why i wondered in what situation would the alarm go off. and you are right though people just freaken reverse until they hit you when they double park around here. then they realize oh oops i have no more space and repeat it until they get in.

Haha nice I live in the Dyker/Bensonhurst area its a bit better but can get quite awful late at night when all the cars are squeezed in tightly. It's awfully scary to watch your car sometimes. One time i was watchign and expected it to happen and when it did i pressed my panic button really quick and the guy walked out off his car and got all freaked out lol.
