removing star from grill w209

I WANT TO PAINT MY GRILL BUT I WANT TO REMOVE THE STAR 1ST...SOME ONE HELP PLEASE!!!

i dont think you can remove the star because i think its built in the grill. If you succeed on removing the star let me know because i want to do the same.

I FIGURED IT OUT..THE STAR ACTUALLY IS BEING HELD ON WITH 5 TABS. I USED A KNIFE..AND SLID IT BETWEEN THE STAR AND THE PLASTIC CIRCLE HOLDING IT..AND YOU CAN POP OFF THE STAR TAB BY TAB BY SLIGHTLY TURNING THE BLADE.
