I got my license plate LEDs from ebay, $35 out the door. My LEDs have built in resistors, so no splicing or extra steps required; just replace the stock bulbs and your done.

search "clk led bulb" and look for the lincense plate bulb. they are usually around $40 bucks for the one with built in resistor. if your not afraid to put in resistor then any $10-$15 LED bulb will work with the resistor from radioshack. I bought my bubl for 15bucks plus shipping, paid 2bucks for the resistor and its all good.

I don't think they make one yet for that but I did installed Xenon LED bulbs with resitors build in for the front bumper side lens and day running light. It look much much better then the factory yellow/orange bulbs.

So you have to solder in two of the resistors in parallel in the positive power cable that leads in to the socket for each bulb?

Thanks

you dont have to solder, you can twist it in, or use the clamp type to tap it in.

cool, thanks, got the LEDs but did not have the time to install. I did replaced the low, high and parking lights with the blue/white bulbs and it looks great. Still need to replace the fog lights but I will do it when I get the AMG bumper installed with its fog lights.

By the way got them from ebay if anyone is interested.
