Unhappy HELP! Trying to remove pin from rear brake pads

Help! I'm trying to replace my rear brake pads of my 2003 CLK 320 and cant seem to get the PIN which holds the pads in place out. I've pressed down on the spring and tried to push the PIN out to no avail. Any advice? To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

OMG.......are you serious? Use some common senses !!! Those pins are like press fitted. Use a small screw drive and knock the pins out one side then compressed the spring and pull out the pins. Is that simple !!! It the easiest brake job I've done because you don't need to remove the calibers like most cars (honda, Toyota...etc) but just the pins and everything just come out. Once the wheels is removed, it took less then 1 min to changed out the pads.

I use a nail set to push out the pin.

I guess the size of nail set depend on the caliber of caliper...
