Larger wheels for CLK55

I would like to put larger wheels on my '04 CLK55 Cab. I really like the wheels on KING///AMG's 02 CLK55 I saw on one of the other threads (or something similar). Where's the best place to get wheels? The M-B dealer? Also I don't want to do it if it will mess with the computer and electronics (like speedometer readings, etc.) or require modifying fenders etc. What size is recommended and how much should I expect to spend. I really don't know what the ramifications to doing it are, so any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. I am glad you like the wheels I have, they do get a lot of compliments. Anyway, I bought mine from Globe Motor Sports out in California. I was looking for original AMG wheels. If you wanna save some $, you could buy the replicas from Tirerack (ASA ST4). I was seconds away from getting them before I changed my mind last minute and went for the originals.

If I decide to sell them, I'll let you know. I was thinking of keeping them to use with sticky tires when I'm at track events.

No problem.... also when you go with a larger diameter tire and rim and you have a navigation, you must recalibrate your navi so it undsterstands that you are going bigger.!

I went with the recommended +2 setup:

19x8.5" w/ 235-35-19 F
19x9.5" w/ 265-30-19 R

I have COMAND (Navi.) so I searched thru the menu where it said "calibrate" and I inputed my new FRONT tire size. This helps the system train your system, so that you get the most accurate results each time.

One thing to note, make sure your offsets are correct. You want to double check that... Good luck!

Never buy rims from dealer, or be prepared to get some lube and bend over. If you look around you can get 1/2 off of what dealer asks. If you dont care whether they are AMG or not, Moven also makes that style you like for very cheap and excellent quality.
