New AMG DTM Package

This is not a package, it is basically a whole different car. You can simply add this package to your CLK55 or CLK500.

Autohaus on Edens in Northfield has 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG displayed on their showroom floor. Absolutely stunning to say the least!!! Salesman said it was the only one currently in the States, and it will be at the AMG event in Milwaukee. He said it sounded amazing as they were loading it off the truck, driving it in to the showroom floor. The car is so sweet. Sorry no pics.

Just wanted to give a heads to everyone, and to the Chicago crew that posts on this board go check it out.(I think the salesmen said it will be there for 2 more weeks)

I LOVE that car. But sadly, it won't be sold in the USA. And it is even more rare than the SLR, much more rare actually.

I would love a DTM package to be sold, that would be tits.

Does anyone know if you can buy the body kit as aftermarket for the W209 CLK55? That is one awesome kit and will be totally unique.

Just because it won't be sold in the states doesn't mean someone can't buy it overseas and ship it over here. An AMAZING car and completely unique on these shores. That is CERTAIN.

Some pics from yesterday at the Autohaus this car is unbelievable; the amount of carbon fiber in the interior is amazing!!! The example at the Autohaus is obviously a driver. I was surprised not to see a signature on the engine.

The car.... Umm the TX lottery is at $240 Million so I can hope for the best right now :p

I seem to remember someone in the W203 forum offering his spot for $80,000. I think that all 100 of the cars are spoken for, of course.

So the majority of these have been allocated to where now? Europe?

I know the US is the biggest market but my guess is it doesnt meet DOT and or EPA standards.

Send me a pm on the price for the body kit and the lead time. I'm contemplating whether or not to change to W209 CLK55 and just install a Kleeman SC or a Porsche 996 turbo. If I can get the body kit for acceptable price, I'll rather stick with a Kleemanized CLK55.
