Cold air intake and filters

Has anyone put a cold air intake on their car? How effective are these products? Who is the overall winner Green Filters or K&N, I know this has been discussed many times but I have not found clarity on the topic. Thanks feel free to post. The car comes stock with a AMG built short ram intake so those products would not help. Try new cat converters. There is a guy in Cali custom fabricating these or get better exhaust. Under under the hood about the best you can do for the least money to chip it. The products for upgrades are challenging to find if you don't want Renntech, Kleemann, AMG, or many other stateside and oversea's performance products with their high prices, but there are companies out there that are custom building some products.
