slk350 for a clk55?

I have an offer to buy up a 2005 clk55 brand new in stock...black on black...is it worth it to trade up my slk350 for the clk? cuz this will be the last production of clk55's since it'll be replaced by the clk63...that's why i'm getting a deal on it...hard to give up the convertible for a coupe tho...lemme know what you guys think To remove this ad, register today or login if you already are registered!

CLK55 coupe is great. I don't like verts, so that option was great for me. And the power that you will have is great too.

Go for a test drive in the CLK before you make any decision.

"Fun"

If you didn't like the "fun"....you wouldn't have got an SLK350.........Sure--w/ AMG you get more power--we can go on and on...and on w/ the list(the $$, the power, the handling, the fun, etc)....but why? Do we have a limit here?

That is not a brainer, the SLK350 is nothing comparing to CLK55. AMG is a God! I would go for it immediately, dont lose that deal!

Thanks for all the input guys...unfortunately what i THOUGHT was a good deal is not...yes the clk55 is "new" in respect that it hasn't been driven...but it's been sitting on the lot since 2004...it's a 2005 model...it's even older than my slk -_- THEREFORE i've settled with a decision...with the slk...but with an AMG slk i'm going to upgrade to a brand new slk55. hope that decision is good for everyone hahaha

I see! Well I went to the dealer 2 weeks ago and you should have seen how much rust was on the rotors! Oh, can I also ask you how much the CLK55 was going for?
