SL55 is the way to go but depends on what you are looking for CLK and SL are ofcourse completely different cars. Probably CLK would be a better daily driver where as SL would be a weekend fun.

We had the SL55 before and it drives great...exhaust sounds very nice and then when you need to cruise around you can have the top down and it's very smooth and quiet when you need it to be...i would go for the sl...don't really like the clk styling ne ways...especially when the new model is coming out soon

SL 55 - I would bet the new 6.3 will take a little time to get up to speed with mods. The CLK63 will be getting new body work in 1 year any way.

SL unless you need the rear seats/extra room.
I would venture the CLK has more truck room. |

SL55, definitely better resale value than a CLK63......
but 2500 miles , not even breakin ! why the owner wanted to sell it? You better check if it has any sign of accidents or service record. And really, CLK63 is excited, but this is only the beginning of the 6.2 litre rollout. There will be SL63, CLS63, and even C63 for W204. I read they might even have a CLS concept version of the future W204 C-class. And, the 6.2 litre engine will sooner or later be incorporated to them.
