You should be able to re-synch without disconnecting your battery.

I get that sometimes, usually in wet weather for some odd reason. Not a major problem at this time for me so I am okay with "once in a while". I think the dealership can help you with this.

To sync the window when it does not close properly removal of the battery cable was necessary.

This is a hall sensor timing problem. It might require new motor or new door control module. You should take it to the dealer.
