Now I add the wheels and a H&R spring kit. I think the front looks good but, the rear needs to come up about a quarter inch or so. Anyway the wheels are Axis I think "milano" in 8.5 x 19 offset +35 front and 9.5 x 19 +30 offset rear. What do you guys think?

SSSSSSSSick!!! Did you use H&R Super Sports? And, did you change the shocks as well? And finally, where did you get your spoiler? Friggin' awesome look.

I got the spoiler on ebay. It's great quality and the paint is a perfect match. I would recomend it and it only took about 30 min. to install. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...spagenameZWDVW
As far as the other questions, I had the work done on Saturday and they weren't open for me to ask questions today. I'm not sure if it's the supersport kit. I just took it to a local place that had a really good reputation. I took it in, told them what I wanted and they sounded like they really knew what they were doing so I just handed them the keys. Came out great but, I would like the height to be even front to rear. I'm going to call them tomorrow to see what has to be done to raise the rear a tad and I'll ask the other questions tomorrow see exactly what they put under it. |

That spoiler is not my cup of tea. If that spoiler were gone, I would say you have one clean nice looking CLK. Just my opinion.

I think the wheels and that spoiler look horrible on your car. Just box everything up and send it all to me.
Just Kidding. I love those wheels. Excellent choice.

isnt it hard to clean those rims due to rivets? I have though about getting a similar set but even without rivets it is hard to clean the break dust.

The window tint cost $230.00 and that included replacing the striping. The recipt says the tint is "16%". It's pretty dark looking in from the outside but, I was told there are two more steps darker? I think if it were any darker it would be ticky time for sure! The work was done at Lagun Beach window tint. I've been going there for ten years and they always do a top job. I got the wheels, tires, H&R springs and install at Wheel and Tire connection. Lake Forest, Ca. I can dig up the # if you're interrested. I'm not sure what the break down is (recipt still in car) but, I put a deposit of $1000.00 for them to order the springs and after the install I gave them another $1600.00. So, that's $2600 for the wheels, tires, springs, install and alignment. The car has #1 pads on it all the way around. They are going to order #2 & #3 pads for the rear. I'll post back after they install the pads. The front looks good to me but, the back is too low. I'll let you all know how it turns out. Thanks to all for the input (s), Davis |

#3 pads in the rear should do the trick.

Thanks.
I keep visiting this page to look at your rims - lol. You did not mention spacers. Any idea if I would need spacers on my stock clk 430? You modified your springs so, I'm wondering if that had to be done to get the wheels to not rub or hit anything. Thanks. Quote:

I got a wholesale quote from a "friend" who owns a shop for a set of Axis Milano "Style" rims 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 for $1,000 U.S. These apparently are the same as Monet Gothic rims which are both made by the same manufacturer.
The seller states... ...."4 BRAND NEW CARLSSON STYLE STAGGERED Rims. ...."These wheels are manufactured by AXIS's OEM manufacture. Same as AXIS Milano." What do you guys/gals think of the price for the knock off of the knock off? Meaning, They are a knock off of the Axis Milano which is a knock off of the CArlsson 2/5 rims.?
