Those rims look identical w/ the ones on Neon....Sorry, mate....you should have done a little more research before sticking those onto your Benz.

You are absolutely right. These 2-piece Brabus rims make my car look like a complete Neon. I can't believe I didn't do my research and purchased Brabus wheels, what was I thinking? Can you please suggest some other rims for me so that my car no longer looks like a Neon? Thank you.

There are many-many dif designs out there, DirtyVegasMB. You will have to research them on the internet...I have, on internet, seen thousands of dif designs (very time-consuming)....You have to be able to visualize--how they'd look on your car....It is a personal choice, ultimately...However, you don't want them to look like a Neon--while you're driving a nice Benz--is the kind of research I'm referring to. Cheers mate!

Doesn't matter if they're from Brabus or Lorinser or Lexani or Donz..etc....I wouldn't put them on if they look like something from a Neon or a Corolla--you nincompoop! Get my point now?

It's the other way around the mbv's were designed for the w 208 clk before Dodge decided to imitate the style on their neons.

Let me ask one simple question; Would you put those rims onto your AMG?
I rest my case.

I don't know about you guys, but now that I look at it... I think the Neon rims look much better!

P.S. 19" Brabus MonoBlock V Rims for sale. Will consider a trade for a set of Neon wheels. Preferred chrome please. Thank you.

Rims are a VERY personal choice. FWIW, I think they look much closer to a BBS wheel than anything from Dodge.

Reynaldo, is the W163 forum so slow these days that you have to spend your time hatin on one of our AMG brothers?

I really do like AMG....However--understand this...the forum, among other technical issues/response, is opened for opinions. That was My Opinion...you can certainly agree/disagree all you can & want to. I welcome your view--agree or disagree--I may....but, I certainly don't 'hate' you nor do I 'hate' what you drive....'hate' is much too strong of a word--in my dictionary.

Cheers mate!...~smiles~...

Not a big fan. But it's your vehicle, not mine.

I have the 2 piece 18's on mine, silver finish though not chrome. I doubt Brabus was trying to copy the rims on a Neon btw.

With those smoked rears if someone runs into the back of you they can legally claim that you are responsible. Since you modified the appearance more than 10% darker then the lawyers would be able to prove your car is not street legal.

I hope it never happens but I can see how the cards would fall.

Yeah...I'm with Reynaldo on this one. First it looks too much like Neon wheels, they have to go. Second, I'm not a big fan of chrome....but thats just my personal taste so nothing against your chrome wheels.

Well, got pulled over by a Cop on a bike today and had my hazards on. We all know that those are the more picky of the bunch, but he had no problem with anything on my car, just my speeding.
For someone to make a deal out of that after rear-ending me... they would really have to know about cars and their lights to claim that mine are tinted.
I see your point, but I'm not worried. Having said I'll 'knock on wood'.
