nono it's not a typo. AMG started to manufacture its 2004 models in July and shipped them to US for September sales. That's what I meant.

very very nice.. just a couple of things out of curiousity..

1. If you opted for custom wheels, why didn't you go with 10 x 19s in the rear.

2. lower your car

Well 19 by 10 in the rear requires fender rolling.
If one puts that in the rear without it, he must be joking.
and with 9.5 it is still pimping. I didn't want to over do it.
Heavier wheels are not my thing.
HRE also wanted to go for the conservative look since mine was the first set for 840R series.
And yes I need to lower my car..^^;;

Question ?

The MB's imported are pretty much euro spec and have quite a high compression ratio compared to US spec cars. Which means better acceleration and higher limited speeds.

I was advised my MB Bahrain not to remap my ECU due to the low octane fuel, only then will i get knocking!

As for figures and facts are concerned:

CLK 320 AMG DESIGNO ELEGANCE 2000
0 - 100 km/h in 6.8 sec.
250 km/h limited top speed at 5000 rpm.
Sport tuned ( as per the spec sheets at the time of ordering)
Higher capacity alternator.
Max output at drive is 230 HP
K&n Cone filter i feel has given me that extra 5 or 10 HP's.

So i'm pretty satisfied with the performance.

ps. Bring on any US spec CLK430 and i might just lift a few eyebrows!

So the CLK 55 AMG , that you got aint a real AMG ?
