160* degree thermostat

Why when I can get new for $25.00

160 may cause ECU issues.

180 would be the way to go.

Please go to the E-55 thread site & read away Your current thremostat is a 195*F but your car on the data logger runs 205* thru 215* F
This stat mod will get you in nthe high 170s thru high 180* RANGE. bUT YOU CANN'T GET ONE OFF THE SHELF. They are now $30.00 from the MB dealer, by the time I mod them , pack & ship them The price I quote is in the ball park
