Yeah, the W209 coupe has a 0-60 of 5.0sec according to MBUSA.

Looks like all the times vary wherever you go. A couple sites rate the W209 coupe at 4.5-4.7 0-60, while there's one or two that rate it between 4.9-5.2.

I've read several different road tests of the W208 and they've posted 0-60 times of 4.9, 5.0, 5.1 & one 5.2 so depending on the weather & the car, tires, fuel load etc it will all be near the 5.0 second mark. I think the W209 has a less restrictive engine bay allowing for better flowing exhaust. I've heard same 0-60 times for the W209 as the W208. I think the W209 is a bit heavier. |

I always thought that the W208's M113 engine has lower compression ratio and lower rev limit. I then assume that's where the 209's and 203's 55 engines get their extra power from.
FYI, When the W208 CLK55 was still in production, the CL55, and S55's M113 made more power too (355 I think?) |
